Abstract
Tumor cell of origin is an important prognostic measure but is challenging to assess. We recently demonstrated in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that the chromatin landscape serves as a biomarker of transformed cell of origin. Thus, open chromatin loci offer important prognostic information as well as targets for development of novel therapies in cancer treatment. Mol Cell Oncol 2016 Sep 30; 3(6):e1236770
