Postcards of Robin Hood Park

Postcards of Robin Hood Park

This is a collection of postcards of various views of Robin Hood Park. In 1900, Colonel Edward Morrell of Philadelphia made the park grounds on his land available to the newly founded Horse Show and Fair Association in Bar Harbor which were held annually for 3 days during the last week in August from 1900-1912. Robin Hood Park was located on the present-day home of the Jackson Laboratory's, Morrell Park facilities. The land has changed but the beautiful landscapes remains the same.
