Abstract

This review provides background material on the rabbit of interest to scientists engaged in research on aging. It also summarizes some of the recent work using the rabbit in such research. The purpose of this review is to acquaint gerontologists with work primarily in the European literature where the rabbit has been used extensively in research on aging.
