Abstract
This research project aims to develop accurate biological clocks to measure age and aging rates in organisms at various levels, from whole systems to individual cells. To ensure the applicability of the results to the human population, a diverse mouse population is being used as a model. Various statistical analysis techniques were employed to identify potential genetic markers for constructing biological clocks to measure internal aging noninvasively and accurately. This summer's focus was on predicting aging with early time points and identifying strains that serve as the best indicators for variation in aging.
